AMCC Altruistic Award
The AMCC Altruistic Award shall spotlight the contributions and selfless dedication made by an individual to the Alaskan Malamute Breed on a regional or national basis. Any member may nominate another member for this award and the time frame for nominations and subsequent voting by the Board will follow the time frame for the Member of the Year Award.
The member nominating the individual for the Award shall provide an explanatory, written statement as to why they feel the individual is worthy of the award, including specific examples. This award does not have to be awarded every year. The Board shall judge the merits of the submissions and vote on awarding the Humanitarian Award based on those merits.
